gosh.
I really cannot even get enough of this mama. I am addicted to her blog. I can stare at her photos all day. Her outlook on life, creativity and babies are all to adore.

closetS- yes, please!
The best part of my new house (and the only part that I have complete) are my closets - and yes, that's plural. Since I have taken over the guest bedroom and the coat closet, I have a total of THREE closets. Am I am loving every bit of space - especially coming from my itty-bitty closet in my old house. You can take a peek at my array of closets below:
My bedroom closet. It contains dresses, purses and bags.

The hall closet, containig shoes:

The guest room - with tops, pants, skirts and jeans:

Also, take a peek at my shower shelf/ window ledge. Loving that as well :)

Oh, and one more thing: Did I mention that my Daddy suprised us with a new TV on move-in day? Reason number 845,095 that I love him: His bargaining skills at HH Gregg.

I can't wait to get back to Nashville this weekend and get settled in.

Burger Up
Last night, I decided to take my friends Rachel and Reagan on a little rendezvous:

As you know, I have been VERY excited about the flea market this weekend (eek!). So, we decided, no no no - I talked them into hitting it a little early. We went to JP's house to get his truck, in hopes of loading it up and heading home. I had heard that Thursday night is the time to go. They open on Friday morning, so you can get all the good stuff if you are there while they unload. Well, it was a FLOP. First of all, it was raining. Cats and dogs. Secondly, all of the vendors were either at dinner or couped up in their campers. If we were theives, this would have been a successful trip.
I did see a mirror that I must have. I saw it there 2 months ago and it was marked for $125. I think I may have talked her down to $90, but that was still a little pricey. When I saw it yesterday, it was still marked $125. I think since she has been sitting on it for at least 2 months, she will go down further on price. I hope. Or I may just have too cough up the dough. Since the owner was at dinner last night, I am going back this afternoon and cannot wait to post a photo of it. I must get it.
We were all very hungry while at the flea market, so I talked them into something else - This new restaurant in 12South called BURGER UP.

I am proud to annouce that it was a success. I had the most delicious veggie burger called the "Marathon". The ketchup was the best ketchup I've ever dipped in. The sweet potato fries were beyond words. I guess what I'm saying is: You shoud try it. But don't go when I go. I don't want anyone else adding to wait time.

my dream STUDIO
I want this table:

but I want it to have this character:

and I want this palet bed for my "reading nook" in my studio (I think I need to buy a door off of Rachel for the headboard):

I have feeling that my reading nook will easily turn into Cash's bed. But I dont mind, I'll have this little face whenever I can get it:

And I want this over my table, for all my magazine clippings, photos, quotes, notes, fabric scraps - anything for inspiration.

I think the first thing in order:
1. put together my bedroom.
2. put together the kitchen.
3. put together the den.
4. finish the bathroom.
5. finish the patio and garden.
6. clean out the third bedroom.
and VIOLA! my studio. Its just that easy, see?
