dual birthdays

this was one of the best weekends EVER.



JP was baptized into Christ around 10pm on Friday evening. We were over at Mark and Marilyn's house for dinner, started talking and reading scripture, when JP decided that he wanted to be baptized right then. We made a few phone calls and went to the Hardiman's backyard pool. So many wonderful friends dropped what they were doing on Friday night to witness the Holy Spirit. JP was baptized on the eve of his 27th birthday by Mark and my dad.

The next day, we had a birthday party with just a few close friends for JP. It was a really special weekend.

I think this is the most beautiful invitation, response card and return envelope I've ever received.




Lauren and Pascal are both organic gardeners - hence the shovels and watering can. By the looks of this invitation, I cannot even begine to imagine how beautiful the party will be.

totally looking forward to this online mag. i need a little inspiration in my life.

speaking of inspiration, i need to take all my ideas and do something with them. i used to have this creative side that i thrived on. with my current title, i havent had the oppotunity to let it loose and flourish. I have been completely consumed with the left side of my brain. i want that right side back. bad.

magnets

I've been in desperate need of magnets lately. I haven't found anything cute, and when I did, it was $22 for 4 of them. I won't fall for that!



I went to Michael's and bought a packet of 8 magnets for about $4. I hot-glued the magnets inside painted bottlecaps. Voila! Cheap magnets.
